Relay VS Repeater Review August 21, 2023 |
||
Check out what The Loam Wolf had to say about the Relay and the Repeater! The Loam Wolf got their hands on both our Relay and Repeater ebikes and reported back with insights on both rigs including what type of rider they might be pointed at. Their main riding locales are around Bend, OR, an area consisting of a variety of high desert and coniferous forested options that have jumps, rocky sections and high speed trails. Read the whole review HERE! "There’s ample agility to ride trails in the same way as your favorite enduro bike" (referring to the Relay) -Loam Wolf While a ton of their viewers asked if they would consider the Relay PNW (mixed wheel/burlier suspension platform) for their riding area, they were perfectly content with the dual 29 Relay because of its, playful and lively characteristics. They also took the opportunity to ride the Relay sans battery with friends on non powered bikes. Many of their friend's bikes were heavy hitting enduro bikes that weighed in around the same as the Relay without it's battery. "This is just a very fun, playful, capable bike, it's just really well rounded. and its a bike we look forward to putting more miles on." -LW REPEATER "It’s a good all-around eBike that just does what it’s supposed to do, no questions asked." While The Loam Wolf crew was excited to try the mid power Relay, they said they're more full powered "boost/turbo" mode riders, and were stoked on the performance of the Repeater. "Speed, composure and confidence are three words we’d use to describe on-trail characteristics of the Repeater." was how they described the performance of the Repeater. One of their biggest curiosities was if both bikes would carry Transition's core riding characteristics of being playful poppy bikes to ride. After their month long test, they agreed both the Repeater and Relay are just powered versions of the lively bikes Transition is known for. Be sure to check out their full review HERE to get the full scoop on their experiences with both the Repeater and Relay! And stay tuned for a longterm review from the Loam Wolf later this year! |
