General Terms & Conditions BIKE ASSEMBLY (Unassembled bikes) Bikes ship with some assembly required. Assembly by a qualified professional bicycle mechanic is required. Failure to assemble through a qualified mechanic may result in performance issues or failures that are not covered under our warranty. CONTACT All orders placed through Transition Bikes via a retail customer will ship within 72 hours of order completion. Please contact us if you have not received your shipping information via email within 72 hours of placing your order. Transition Bikes reserve the right to refuse shipment to any persons for any reason. PAYMENT For all in-stock orders, Transition Bikes will process payment at the time of checkout. For pre-orders, we will process payment at the time the product(s) become available and are ready to ship. PROCESSING TIMES Order processing can take up to 72 hours. You will be emailed an automated message when your shipment ships from our facility. This email will include tracking information. Please contact us if you do not receive an email with your tracking information. PRICING For customers located in the United States, all prices are listed in US Dollars. For customers located in Canada, all prices are listed in Canadian Dollars. SALES TAX All orders shipped within the USA and Canada will be charged local sales tax. Return Policy You may return or exchange the item(s) by your preferred shipping method or at the Transition Outpost. To arrange a return or exchange, please email info@transitionbikes.com or call us at (360) 366-4960 x 2. Transition Bikes will accept returns or exchanges on unused, undamaged merchandise in its original packaging for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. You are responsible for the return shipping and handling charges. Please note a 5% restocking fee will be deducted from the amount to be refunded for any returned framesets or complete bikes. RETURNING BY SHIPPING Please contact Transition Bikes customer service to request a return authorization number before shipping your items back to Transition Bikes. Send in your item(s) using your preferred shipping method. You are responsible for return shipping and handling charges. Your return will be processed within 10-14 business days. Complete bikes and framesets must be returned with the original packaging. RETURNING AT TRANSITION BIKES OUTPOST Simply bring the item(s) you'd like to return to the Transition Bikes Outpost along with your receipt and original form of payment. Any salesperson can assist you with your return. REFUNDS All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or a Transition Bikes Account Credit. Ship To Dealer Program What is the Transition Ship To Dealer program? Our Ship To Dealer program allows you to purchase complete bikes and framesets from transitionbikes.com and have your entire order delivered to your local Transition dealer. Simply select "Ship To Dealer'' during the checkout process and your order will be shipped to your dealer for assembly and pickup. What products can I order through the Ship To Dealer program? Our full bike model lineup is available through the Ship To Dealer program. All of the other products we offer can be included with a bike or frameset purchase. Ship To Dealer is only an option to you when you have a complete bike or frameset on your order. Can I place an order for a bike or frameset that is not in stock? We currently only accept Ship To Dealer orders for products that are in stock. Can I have my order delivered to a non-Transition dealer? Ship To Dealer is only available through authorized Transition dealers. How long will it take to receive my order? Transition strives to ship every order within 2 business days. Depending on transit time, the entire process can take anywhere from 3-10 business days. Your Transition dealer will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order to schedule a pickup time and discuss any additional assembly services or accessories you may need. Will I be charged for shipping? Can I choose expedited delivery? Orders placed through the Ship To Dealer program will ship for free with FedEx ground service. There is currently no express delivery service available. Hawaii and Alaska are included in this policy, USA territories are not included and will incur a separate shipping charge. Will I be charged for assembly? Bike assembly is included with your purchase and will be fulfilled by the Transition dealer. Will my local dealer help me set up the bike? In addition to assembly, your dealer will help set up your suspension, cockpit, and any other details you may need. Can I order through a Transition authorized dealer outside of the USA or Canada? Ship To Dealer is only available to participating dealers within the USA and Canada. US territories are excluded. Are pedals included with complete bikes? Pedals are not included. You may purchase pedals here or from your dealer. What if I need to return part of my order? Returns are accepted within 30 days of the date of purchase. For products to be eligible for returns, they must be new and unused, in their original packaging. If you need to return anything in your order, please contact the dealer where you took delivery. They will provide you with the necessary information and instructions for returning your products. For more information, see our Return Policy. What do I need to pick up my bike? Please present a valid form of identification and your order number upon pickup. This identification can include a driver's license, passport, or any government-issued photo ID. |
