BIKE ASSEMBLY (Unassembled bikes)
Some bikes ship with assembly required. Some models are delivered partially assembled, while others ship completely disassembled. Assembly by a qualified professional bicycle mechanic is required. Failure to assemble through a qualified mechanic may result in performance issues or failures that are not covered under our warranty.

Retail customers who purchase current model year framesets or complete bikes from www.transitionbikes.com will be contacted by a Transition representative prior to shipping to confirm the order. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have not heard from a representative within 72 hours of time of checkout. Transition bikes reserves the right to refuse shipment to any persons for any reason.
For all in-stock orders, Transition Bikes will process payment at time of checkout. For pre-orders, we will process payment at the time the product(s) become available and are ready to ship.
Order processing can take up to 72 hours. You will be emailed an automated message when your shipment ships from our facility. This email will include tracking information.
For customers located in the United States, all prices are listed in US Dollars. For customers located in Canada, all prices are listed in Canadian Dollars. For customers in all other regions, all prices are listed in US Dollars.
Washington State sales tax is charged for orders shipping within Washington State and for orders will called to our Bellingham Washington location.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted between you, our servers, and credit card vaults in a secure way. We do not store your credit card information directly, and any credit card information we collect is stored in a PCI compliant vault.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
You may return item(s) by your preferred shipping method or in the Transition Bikes Factory Store.
Transition Bikes will accept returns or exchanges on unused, undamaged merchandise for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. To arrange a return or exchange, please email email@example.com.
RETURNING BY SHIPPING
Please contact Transition Bikes customer service to request a return authorization number before shipping your items back to Transition Bikes. Send in your item(s) using your preferred shipping method. You are responsible for return shipping and handling charges. Your return will be processed within 10-14 business days.
RETURNING AT TRANSITION BIKES FACTORY STORE
Simply bring the item(s) you'd like to return to the Transition Bikes Factory Store along with your receipt and original form of payment. Any salesperson can assist you with your return.
Please contact Transition Bikes customer service to request an exchange.
All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or a Transition Bikes Account Credit. If we choose to provide a refund and no record of sale is available, we will ask for personal identification and a return will be provided at current price on a Transition Bikes Account Credit.
