WHY WE LOVE IT The goal with the Repeater Powertrain is to create the best riding experience possible. That starts with evolving the existing Repeater geometry to create a bike that gives you more confidence and control while utilizing a system that works naturally as an extension of the rider. With Powertrain, the motor, drivetrain and controls all work together, which not only unifies the complicated systems at play on an eMTB, but also unlocks new features that riders can utilize and customize to their preferences. Right out of the box you'll notice how clean the frame and cockpit are. With only brake cables to manage, just two AXS pod controllers, and a small top tube screen, the Repeater brings a refreshingly simplified approach to your eMTB. The familiar controls of AXS pods allow you to access every feature easily and ergonomically. With the majority of the components working wirelessly, this translates into a much tidier and quieter frame. Coupled with the SRAM Powertrain motor that remains quiet in even the roughest terrain, your focus can remain on the trail and the experience you set out for. The Eagle Powertrain Brain behind the whole system unlocks many new features to create a bike that simply allows you to ride to the best of your ability with maximum enjoyment. Features such as auto shift and coast shift become just another tool in your toolbox available at your fingertips. These modes have us ascending smoother and descending safer and with more confidence. Whether you are trying to clean a techy climb or get a pedal stroke out of a turn, knowing you're in the right gear gives you confidence in each pedal stroke. It's less about having a fully automatic system, and more about the system assisting you when you need it most. A FULLY INTEGRATED EXPERIENCE The Eagle Powertrain drive unit is powerful and reliable while churning out 90 NM of torque, making it one of the highest torque systems on the market. Powered by the SRAM 720wh battery, this motor has an extremely natural feeling, assisting you as an extension of your own strength, and allowing you to push harder and farther. The magic of the Repeater PT is the integration of the motor and drivetrain. Power on the bike and all systems are immediately working together to make sure your ride is as smooth and supported as possible. As you ride, it constantly assesses your speed, power, and cadence. It shifts on its own to keep you at your optimum cadence without the need for you to reach for the shift lever. In addition, the Powertrain system will continue to shift and keep the bike in the perfect gear even when you are coasting. |
RANGE OR RALLY, YOUR CHOICE The Repeater PT has two tunable motor power settings: Range and Rally. Range is a lower power mode, which is useful to extend battery life or use along your commute to the trailhead. Rally is full power for ultimate speed and torque. By simplifying the motor power levels to two options, you no longer have to look down and see what mode you're in. If you need more or less power, simply click the single button that toggles between Range and Rally. |
POD CONTROLLERS The new AXS pod controllers keep all functionality simple to control and easy to program to your preference while delivering one of the cleanest cockpits possible. Out of the box, the upper non-drive side button toggles between Range and Rally mode while the lower non-drive side button controls the AXS dropper post. The upper drive-side button shifts the derailleur up, and the lower drive-side button shifts the derailleur down. We find this to be intuitive and natural, but the AXS App makes it easy to reconfigure these buttons to suit your preferences. |
AUTO SHIFT WITH T-TYPE AXS The auto shift function eliminates the need for you to initiate a shift most of the time. The Powertrain system uses an algorithm to keep you in the perfect gear when pedaling as well as coasting. While the auto shift function handles most of the shifting duties, there will still be times when you will want to initiate a shift for a change in terrain ahead. In this case you can use the Pod Controller to shift into the correct gear manually, temporarily pausing the auto shift function. If you prefer a manual shift experience, a press and hold of the upper right pod button will turn the auto shift on or off allowing the rider to control the derailleur like a traditional AXS shifter. Additionally, the Powertrain system has coast shift, which allows the rider to shift at any time without turning the cranks. This is beneficial in many instances, but especially when descending a steep section of trail that leads immediately into a quick climb. As the rider descends at high speed, the derailleur will remain in a high gear matching the speed, but with coast shift the rider can anticipate the climb ahead and shift to an appropriate gear without ever pedaling. To accomplish this seemingly impossible magic trick, the Powertrain drive unit will rotate the chainring just enough to smoothly shift without using enough torque or speed to affect your ride. This function remains active even when you are in manual shift mode, allowing riders who want the ultimate control over the system to still have access to this incredibly useful feature. |

Speed Balanced Geometry SBG ensures the bike maintains low speed agility, front wheel traction, and proper rider weight balance while actually increasing confidence in steep terrain and at high speeds. With SBG, a slacker head tube angle is combined with a reduced offset fork standard, preventing the front wheel from being too far in front of the rider. This improves front to rear weight distribution on the bike, which is often out of balance on long and slack bikes. One of SBG's greatest benefits is that it creates a confident steering feel that adapts to wheel speed. More stability when going fast, more agility on technical slow speed maneuvering as well as improved traction, control and confidence for any skill level of rider. |

GiddyUp Suspension We want to make it as easy as possible to experience great rear suspension performance. The GiddyUp suspension system is designed to behave intuitively across a broad range of setup. Because we get it, sometimes you just want to grab your bike and GiddyUp, without checking your setup. When you do, it will always feel good. The GiddyUp suspension layout provides 170mm of travel from a 205 x 65mm shock, and is tuned to work correctly with both air and coil. Riders are able to add or remove volume spacers in the rear air shock to suit their individual riding style and there is plenty of bottom-out control with air or coil shocks when things get rowdy. With nearly 27% progression and an E-bike specific version of our GiddyUp suspension kinematic, the Repeater has an excellent balance of support and small bump sensitivity. The Repeater PT suspension is tuned for maximum traction that enhances both descending and climbing experiences while delivering a bottomless ride feel. A suggested sag range of 28 - 34% allows the rider to tune the feel of the bike; from a firm and snappy jump and slash mode to a more supple and active full-on party mode.
