Speed Balanced Geometry
SBG ensures the bike maintains low speed agility, front wheel traction, and proper rider weight balance while actually increasing confidence in steep terrain and at high speeds. With SBG, a slacker head tube angle is combined with a reduced offset fork standard, preventing the front wheel from being too far in front of the rider. This improves front to rear weight distribution on the bike, which is often out of balance on long and slack bikes. One of SBG's greatest benefits is that it creates a confident steering feel that adapts to wheel speed. More stability when going fast, more agility on technical slow speed maneuvering as well as improved traction, control and confidence for any skill level of rider.

The Spur comes with the top/front two ISCG05 tabs only. This model is only compatible with two bolt top guides and is not compatible with three bolt guides or lower bash guards.
For customers ordering directly off our website, we are no longer accepting pre-orders due to uncertainty in global supply chains and production and with ETAs continually changing. However, we have added a "Notify me when this item is back in stock" feature for all our models. Just click the model, build kit, color and size you'd like then click on the notify me button and add your email. Once that bike arrives and is available for purchase you will receive an email notifcation.
Yes you can run a different shock, we know there are a lot of great shock options outside of what we spec. However, the Spur was not designed with any reservoir equipped shocks in mind, and clearance for the reservoir was not a factor in the frame design.
Transition Bikes is not responsible for any damage to a frame caused by a shock that we do not spec. Always check bottom out clearances before riding a non-spec shock and to verify fitment email us at info@transitionbikes.com.
Yes. Running 10mm more or less travel than stock is okay. Any more than 10mm in either direction can negatively affect the handling.
Yes, but this bike is built with SBG technology, which utilizes an offset in the range of 42-44mm. Running a fork with more or less offset would be taking away from the SBG technology package.

No, there is no weight limit for the Spur. However, the SIDLuxe Ultimate and SIDLuxe Select + that we spec on the Spur both have a max pressure of 325psi.
If you have not received an email confirming your tracking number, you can find it by going to your "Order History" once logged in. There you'll see the invoice number, date shipped, shipping carrier, and tracking info, if available. You'll be able to click on the tracking info and be re-directed to the shipping carrier's website. See below for an example.
If you order directly from us you can watch this video to see how the bike will arrive to you. There is very little assembly required. If you order it through one of our local dealers, then the bike will come assembled and ready to ride.
We do not have a spring rate chart or recommendation for this model. Please reach out to the shock manufacturer or use the spring rate calculator here.
