We often hear about gnarly trails and big air, which can sometimes overshadow the organic feeling of supple tires grazing slimy roots and hooking up on perfect dirt. Those fleeting moments can be overlooked unless you're really out searching for them, and they are exactly what keep Logan Wetzel's legs spinning year after year and mile after mile.

Logan has been around the cycling scene for a while with the majority of it has taken place in the PNW. Although one discipline or bicycle cannot define Logan's style, he relates his journey on two wheels most closely with that of a hardtail, and its way of bringing out little moments of perfection.

Simplicity is at the core of Logan's philosophy for life and riding bikes. As an engineer immersed in technology five days of the week, the more he can unplug and simplify his days off, the better.

Opting for his VW Vanagan and a hardtail, he finds himself more in tune with his journey and the surroundings that piloting the high tech machines of today. The simple, nostalgic ride of both vehicles keeps him going day in and day out.

Sometimes the challenge is the best part. Each one providing a hurdle where we can learn about ourselves and grow along the way.
