Race ready with Johnny Helly on the TR11!

Johnathan Helly has been on our radar since a handful of us went to race the Psychosis DH, and got absolutely smoked by him. His fast and loose riding style put him on top of our short list of riders who we wanted to see ride the all new TR11. Just a few weeks after getting the bike, we headed up to Squamish, BC to see how he was getting on with the bike.

Hailing from Kamloops, BC, Johnny grew up in the ultimate MTB playground with access to world class jumps and single track; and when he'd get too tired to pedal himself back up, he would jet up to Sun Peaks for some lift access laps. Before last season, Johnny spent most of his time training and racing enduros around Canada and across the world on the World Cup circuit. Last season he went all in on DH and his hard work paid off as he took the National Champs title against Canada's notoriously stacked field. We're excited to see him lay it down this season locally as well as a handful of World Cups!

So tall we couldn't fit him in the frame, but at least his XL frame, +5mm headset cups, and +10mm chainstays fit.

Johny is still a bit under the radar, but those who know, know.
