2012 TR250/450 Axle Replacement
Transition Bikes is currently replacing a batch of axles that were produced and sold with 2012 TR450 and TR250 models . If you have one of the affected axles you should contact the place of purchase immediately to receive a free replacement axle. Not all 2012 TR450s and TR250s have the affected axle so please review the below photo to see if you have an affected axle. The effected axle will have an M6 thread located inside the threaded end of the axle and an M6 retaining screw may be installed. Axles using a M5 thread and retaining screw are not affected. If you have one of the affected axles, please remove it from your bike immediately and take it to the place of purchase for a free replacement immediately.
