New Carbon Hardtail GiddyUp Bikes

We are stoked to introduce the Throttle and Vanquish to our family. Both bikes mimic the heart and soul of our GiddyUp full suspension bikes. The Throttle is our 27.5 playful trail bike that is similar to our Scout and the 29er Vanquish is designed for backcountry adventures just like our Smuggler.

Vital Test Sessions Carbon Scout Women's Review

We love designing bikes for humans. The Scout is our most versatile bike for fitting a wide range of humans so we sent it down south to to let the ladies thrash on it. Click here for the full review

Here are some of their thoughts on the bike:

"Capable and confidence inspiring. Fast and efficient. Poppy and playful. This 140/125mm travel bike can put down miles chasing cross-country friends, absolutely rock it on the flowy stuff, or take on steep, techy trails while shuttling without much worry. For what it's worth, not only did this bike feel fast, it also beat the other trail and enduro bikes we ladies tested in timed downhill runs that included multiple short steep climbs."

"The Scout is ideal for riders out to maximize their fun. If you find yourself on moderately technical descents often, are on the hunt for jumpy bonus lines, and don't want to be destroyed by the top of the hill so you can enjoy your well-earned descent, you'll really enjoy this ride. Does your lady ride bikes? The bike is for her, too – put a bow on it. The Scout was a blast to ride!" -

Share on Facebook Long Term Patrol Carbon Thrashing just put out their long term review of the Patrol Carbon and they were quite impressed. The North Shore of Vancouver BC is a brutal testing ground for how durable a bike needs to be, especially in the winter we just had.  Here is a their closing argument for why the loved the bike so much.

"In short, the Patrol is fantastic. It seems to pedal with ease and grace for a 155 mm travel bike. Pricing and weight are reasonable. It’s adequately stiff for aggressive riding, but not jarring either. Descending the Patrol is a sheer giggle on the trail. It never seems to get upset on rough terrain but is still agile enough to place it precisely where I want it. The Super Deluxe on the back is a good match, although if it were my bike I'd run something where I had more control over low-speed compression damping. My only minor gripe is that I really like coil shocks, and I would want the leverage ratio to be a bit more progressive. Cable routing is great, and I think the whole bike looks fantastic. I've got a bunch of time on it and through some horrendous conditions I haven't had any durability issues." - Tim Coleman (Photos: Dave Smith) Click here to view the full review
